Support ECU!

Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding auditioned chorus performing classical masterworks and great choral music of all eras with a professional orchestra.  The ECU Chamber Singers perform at a variety of local senior living residences and Elmhurst Hospital, bringing music to those that may not be able to attend one of our concerts. After a few virtual performances due to the global pandemic, we have returned to in-person performances and have loved sharing music with all of our audiences. We hope to see you at our upcoming concert! Check out our Concerts page for more information.

A note: Elmhurst Choral Union uses Givebutter as our donation platform. There is a credit card processing fee included to utilize this service. You can also mail in your donation, which has zero processing fees.

Other ways to support ECU:

Leaving ECU in your will:

Planning for the future and creating the legacy you wish to leave is one of the most effective ways to ensure a lasting impact. Making a gift in your will or living trust, known as a bequest, can guarantee that your legacy endures.

“I give, devise and bequeath [written amount, percentage of estate or description of property] to Elmhurst Choral Union, an Illinois non-profit organization currently located at P.O Box 1493, Elmhurst, IL 60126, Tax ID Number 36-4487249, to be used for its unrestricted purposes.”

Donating Stock:

Donating stock (vs. cash) saves you a lot of money. When you donate stock, you avoid capital gains tax while earning a bigger tax deduction. Nonprofits also get to keep more.
To manually donate stock to charity, you’ll fill out a stock transfer form from your brokerage, which is the financial institution that manages your stock assets. In the form, you’ll list information about the stock you want to donate and which charity you want to donate to.

If you have questions, please reach out to an Elmhurst Choral Union Board Member or your personal attorney for clarification.

Your donation to Elmhurst Choral Union is tax deductible.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization.
